Brittany Reeves, PT, DPT
Brittany comes to us from Nashville, AR and is a proud Scrapper alumni. From years of playing softball and tennis, she had to have physical therapy (PT) for a strained rotator cuff, which sparked her initial interest in the field. Following high school, she obtained her bachelor’s degree in Biology from Henderson State University, where she was a member of Alpha Sigma Alpha sorority and multiple honor societies. Following graduation, she spent a few days at Arkansas Children’s Hospital observing their PTs, and it confirmed her career choice. Brittany then furthered her education to the University of Central Arkansas, where she completed her Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree in 2015. While in the DPT program, Brittany took extra course electives for Women’s Health and Aquatic Physical Therapy.
Following graduate school, Brittany moved to Magnolia, AR, where she took a full-time position working for The Greenhouse Cottages of Wentworth Place, working as a rehab therapist with primarily the geriatric population. She also worked at HealthSouth Rehabilitation Hospital in Texarkana, TX. After working in a nursing home for over a year, Brittany knew her true passion was pelvic health and orthopedics, and made the move to become an outpatient PT for Quantum Rehabilitation in 2016. We are thrilled to have Brittany as a member of our team, not only for her great personality and relationship with patients, but her particular skill set that is unique to the field of physical therapy.
Brittany is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association, Section on Women’s Health, and the Arkansas Physical Therapy Association. She has a particular interest in the role of physical therapy in the areas of obstetrics and pelvic floor rehab. She is working towards her certification in OB and Pelvic through the Section on Women’s Health CAAP programs.
Brittany is married to John David Reeves and they are expecting their first child December 2017.
Outside of work, Brittany enjoys serving her church (Mount Vernon Community Baptist Church), hunting, traveling, going to the lake, cheering on the Razorbacks, and spending time with family.
